Cookie and Tracking Policy

Effective Date: March 24, 2026  |  Last Updated: April 7, 2026

This Cookie and Tracking Policy explains how Tiny Tastes Tracker ("we", "us", "our") uses cookies, tracking pixels, and similar diagnostic technologies within our iOS application ("App") and on our marketing website.

1. Cookies on Our Website

If you visit the Tiny Tastes Tracker promotional website, we may use cookies—small text files saved to your device—to enhance your browsing experience.

You can manage or disable non-essential cookies via your browser settings or our website's cookie consent banner (available to EU and UK visitors).

2. Tracking Technologies Within the App

Because Tiny Tastes Tracker is a native iOS application, we do not use traditional "web cookies" inside the App. Instead, we rely on mobile diagnostic SDKs.

Firebase Analytics & Crashlytics

We integrate Google Firebase into the App to monitor stability and feature adoption.

RevenueCat

We use RevenueCat to securely validate your App Store receipt when you purchase a premium subscription. RevenueCat tracks subscription lifecycles anonymously to unlock premium features and prevent piracy.

OpenFoodFacts API

When you use the barcode scanner to log a food product, the App sends the product barcode number to the Open Food Facts API (world.openfoodfacts.org) to retrieve nutritional information. No personally identifiable information is transmitted in these requests. Open Food Facts is a non-profit, open-data project. View their privacy policy.

3. Google Fonts on Our Marketing Website

Our marketing website loads the Inter typeface from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com / fonts.gstatic.com). When your browser loads a Google Font, Google receives your IP address as part of the standard HTTP request. If you are in the EU or UK, this constitutes a data transfer to Google. We are evaluating self-hosting our fonts to eliminate this transfer.

4. Disabling Tracking (App Tracking Transparency)

If you are running iOS 14.5 or later, Tiny Tastes Tracker fully respects Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework. We do not track you across third-party apps and websites owned by other companies for targeted advertising purposes (IDFA tracking). The diagnostic data we collect is strictly first-party data used solely to fix and improve our own service.
