Tiny Tastes Tracker is designed with a "privacy-first" architecture. Most of the data you enter is stored either locally on your device or securely synced via your personal Apple iCloud account.

A. Information You Provide

Profile Information: Child's name, date of birth, and known allergies.
Health & Tracking Data: Meal logs, sleep schedules, diaper changes, bottle feedings, and growth measurements.
Media & Content: Photos of meals or recipes you upload, and notes you create.

B. Automatically Collected Information

Usage Data: Anonymous diagnostic data, crash reports, and basic usage analytics to help us improve the app. This data is not linked to your identity.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use the information we collect strictly to provide and improve the Service:

App Functionality: To enable features like the tracking dashboard, growth charts, and the "Eat the Rainbow" progress.
AI Insights (Opt-in): If you use the "Sage" AI assistant or food scanning features, we send specific inputs (like a photo or a text query, along with relevant context like your child's age or allergens) to our AI provider (Google Gemini) to generate responses. We do not use your data to train public AI models.
Customer Support: To respond to your questions or technical issues.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties. We do not use your data for targeted advertising.

3. Data Storage & Security

Your tracking data, photos, and profiles are stored primarily on your device. If you enable iCloud sync, your data is securely stored in your personal Apple iCloud account. We do not maintain a central server containing your personal health data.

When interacting with the AI assistant, data transmitted over the internet is encrypted using industry-standard TLS/SSL protocols.

4. Third-Party Service Providers

We use the following trusted third parties to provide the Service:

Apple Inc.: For iCloud data synchronization, App Store purchases, and anonymous crash reporting.
Google LLC (Gemini AI): For processing AI chat queries and image recognition. Data sent to Google is processed in accordance with Google's API Terms of Service.
Firebase (Google): For secure user authentication and database infrastructure for features like family sharing.

5. Children's Privacy (COPPA)

Tiny Tastes Tracker is intended for use by parents and legal guardians. The Service is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. All data regarding a child must be entered by their parent or guardian. If you are a parent or guardian and believe we have collected information from your child without their consent, please contact us to request deletion.

6. Your Data Rights

Depending on your location (e.g., GDPR in Europe, CCPA in California), you have rights regarding your data:

Access & Export: You can view all your data within the app and export it via the Settings menu.
Deletion: You can delete specific logs, remove a child's profile, or delete all app data entirely using the "Delete Account" feature in the app settings. Deleting the app from your device also removes all locally stored data.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any major changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
